Organization Setup (Leaders Only)

You can set up a new organization in two steps. Only the team leader can complete these steps:

  1. On the organization’s Settings tab, click Create Access Node to create a persistent OS instance that provides secure access to compute nodes in the cloud. This will take several minutes. When the access node is ready, the status will change to Online.

  2. On the Members tab, invite the team members who will be running jobs for this organization.

Although you have the option to deactivate the access node, you should not do this regularly. We recommend deactivating the access node only if your organization will not be using CONVERGE Horizon for an extended period of time. If you recreate the access node after deactivating it, all team members must run horizon conifg sync at the command line to update their CONVERGE Horizon configuration.
