update

Check for updates to the CONVERGE Horizon CLI, and optionally install a new version.

Usage

horizon update [options]

Examples

# Check whether a newer version is available
horizon update

# Install the latest version
horizon update --install

# Install a specific version
horizon update --install --release="3.0.13"

Options

This command supports the general CLI options in addition to those listed below.

--install, -i

Install (on Linux and macOS) or download (on Windows) the latest version. On Linux and macOS, your executable is replaced with the new version automatically. On Windows, the latest executable is downloaded to your computer and you must replace the old executable yourself.

--release=VERSION

Install or download the specified VERSION (example: --release="3.0.13") instead of the latest version. If you pass this option, you must also pass --install.
