Run Jobs From CONVERGE Studio#
CONVERGE Studio is a pre- and post-processor for CONVERGE CFD simulations. If you are using CONVERGE Studio on your local workstation to set up cases for CONVERGE, you can use the CONVERGE Horizon button to upload the input files to cloud storage and create a job on CONVERGE Horizon. This button is available in CONVERGE Studio 5 and later versions.
Your CONVERGE Horizon account and cloud storage must be set up before you start using CONVERGE Studio to run jobs. You can add your CONVERGE Horizon account information to CONVERGE Studio in Edit > Preferences > CONVERGE Horizon.
There are some differences in how CONVERGE Horizon is integrated into CONVERGE Studio 5 and CONVERGE Studio 6. The major differences are listed below. To view detailed documentation for your version, press F1 within CONVERGE Studio.

* If you are running CONVERGE Studio on a CONVERGE Horizon workstation, we recommend attaching your cloud file system to the workstation so that CONVERGE Studio can read/write directly from/to cloud storage without using SSH/SCP. This eliminates the need to store SSH keys on the workstation.
