Set User Preferences#

Each user can set a preferred time zone, data center, and color mode.

Set Your Time Zone#

CONVERGE Horizon displays all times, such as job start and end times, in the user’s local time zone. Follow these steps to set your time zone:

  1. Go to My Account > User Information.

  2. Select your time zone in the Time Zone field.

  3. Click Update Information.

Set a Default Data Center#

You can choose a data center that will be selected by default when you create new file systems, workstations, and spaces.

  1. Go to My Account > User Information.

  2. Select a data center in the Default Data Center field. If location services are enabled on your device, you can click Find closest to find the data center closest to your geographic location.

  3. Click Update Information to save your changes.

Setting a default data center only controls which data center is initially selected when you create new resources. You can still change the data center manually if you want to create a given resource in a different location.

Change the Color Mode#

You can change the color mode of the web interface to be light, dark, or the system default. Select your preferred color mode in the lower right corner:

Your selection will be saved automatically for the next time you log in. You can change your selection at any time.
