Compile UDFs on a Workstation

To compile user-defined functions (UDFs) on a workstation, follow the instructions in the CONVERGE UDF Manual for compiling UDFs on Linux. The CONVERGE UDF Manual is available on the Convergent Science Hub (login required).

The first step before compiling is to set up your environment using a script provided in the CONVERGE installation package. On the workstation, the CONVERGE installation root is /mnt/fs/.cache/apps and only the HPC-X package is installed. The exact path to the environment script depends on which version of CONVERGE is installed. Refer to the CONVERGE Getting Started Guide for details.
